I would assume that when you install the version you bought, it will detect and take care of the trial. Install the version you bought first and then check add/remove programs to see if there are two office installations on your computer. If so, remove the trial one.

try going to start%26gt;%26gt;control panel%26gt;%26gt; add or remove programs and see if the TRIAL version is in there. Take caution and be sure not to delete the full version if you said you bought the full version. I couldn't really understand that 1st part
open up microsoft word and click on help at the top and there should be a link that says Activate Product.
This is where you should enter the product key found on your Microsoft Office Box.
You have to uninstall from the add remove program or activate it. Being that you want to get rid of it you need to remove it from the Add Remove in the Control Panel. I have uninstall it from there many time. Installing a different version requires you to uninstall unless you want both version.
You should be able to remove it from the Control Panel - Add Remove Programs.
Go to the Control Panel - Add/Remove Software and remove it from there.
Once it's done, go to your C: drive, under Program Files, and delete the directory for it.
Then load your new copy.
Just completely install it and then reinstall it as the version you want.
do you still have the cd? if yes is your answer find the file pen it there should be an uninstall do it the reinstall it
if your answer is no do the same thng. youll just have to call the co. and tell you bought both ad want to install it and need to get info. on how to install it or send you another cd
