It seems that since i installed the trial, My computer tends to freeze up or not respond when trying to close a window. It then brings up the report error window and no matter if I click report, or don't report, once that window closes, it closes all windows I have open.

WEll it uses the Ram and a long time ago it would actually hold on to the Ram even if you closed the application, so turning it off was the answer. It also depends on how much Ram you have installed, you might have only minimal Ram installed which will not let you run all your programs and run at optimal performance at once.

OK. Assuming you've checked the PDF filesize, and that it falls within your ISP's attachment limit, the procedure is as follows:-

1. Write your email as you would normally.

2. Before sending it, click on the small paperclip on your toolbar in Outlook. This is the attachment tool

3. Browse to where you have the PDF saved, click on it, and you'll find it will be added to your email.

And that's all there is to it. However, a word of caution. A lot of systems will automatically try to kick in Adobe reader within the viewer's browser if the PDF is attached in this way. In a few cases, this can cause a total lockup of the system. A far safer bet would be to use something like WinZip or WinRAR to encase the PDF within either a Zip or RAR format. This will also have the added benefit (most of the time!!!) in a slight reduction in filesize.

If the document is saved under WordPerfect you must use a program like Adobe Acrobat (not Adobe Reader) to convert the document into a PDF. If it is not already in a PDF format then you cant email it in PDF format. Once the file is in PDF format you can send it just like any other attachment.

Yes, but I think you're asking for a bunch of trouble when the Office 2007 Professional trial version expires. You may not be able to uninstall the Professional trial without messing up your original Home and Student installation. Hopefully you have your Office 2007 Home and Student DVD and 25-digit product key in the event you need to completely reinstall the software. That said...

When you run the setup program for Office 2007 Professional trial, you will have a choice of an Upgrade installation or a Custom installation. Choose Custom, and in the Installation Options tab, you can choose to only install Publisher (or whatever applications you want to install from the trial).

Purchase it. It won't activate because your friend has already activated it on their computer. You can't activate it on a second computer. You'll need to get your own key.

Try downloading and installing OpenOffice. It's a free, legal, open source office suite with similar functionality.
