Need help understanding Microsoft office out look express?

I HAD JUST LOADED MICROSOFT OFFICE STUDENT AND TEACHER EDITION 2003.......INTO VISTA WINDOWS LAP TOP COMPUTER.......AND HAVE VERY LITTLE KNOWLEDGE IN THE COMPUTER WORLD TODAY....PROBLEM THAT I,VE NOT BEEN ABLE TO RESOLVE IS THIS....ON CERTAIN WEB SITES I CLICK TO EMAIL THEM.....AND MY COMPUTER TAKES ME TO MICROSOFT OUTLOOK EXPRESS WITH TITLE READY TO TYPE LETTER OR EMAIL........NOW ONCE I TYPE LETTER.........I SEE NO WAY TO SEND LETTER....IT SEEMS TO WANT TO FILE LETTER.......I KNOW THIS IS OLD VERSION OF SOFTWARE BUT AS I,M TRYING TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE I HAD TO START SOME WHERE......CAN ANYONE PLEASE GUIDE ME TO HOW OR WHERE I CAN GAIN THE KNOWLEDGE........I FEEL A LITTLE STUPID ASKING......BUT THIS IS ISSUE HOLDING ME BACK FROM USING THIS PROGRAM..........ANOTHER QUESTION TO.......CAN YOU ANY WHERE ON THE WEB GET FREE SOFTWARE SUCH AS THIS PROGRAM?

This will automatically open up your computers default email program. You can't ssend anything because you have neveer configured your default email program (in this case Outlook Express) You would need to check with your ISP (internet service provider) to get the correct settings you will need to enter in to the outlook client in order to send and recieve mail from it. Below is a link that will help you setup Outlook express once you have the settings from your ISP.

Your computer has to be set up with your cable or dsl company as to which program you are using as default mail. Usually they will help you with that.



OUTLOOK EXPRESS is free.
