I need help making a timeline with Microsoft Office. Can you please help?

I have Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote. They are all year 2007. I don't know what one to use, and I also need to know how to make a timeline once I get to the correct Microsoft program. I don't know if it helps, but my computer is a Dell Inspiron. Please help me!

It would appear that this is a common question as Microsoft has produced a fully documented procedure for creating this in MS Excel. Check out this link:

It uses a feature under Format to alter the alignment of the text within a cell to appear (and print) at any angle. I think you'll be able to adapt the tricks given in this document to create a great timeline.
