i need to use microsoft word to make an index card so i can use it for my exam. and i don't know how to make a box with the measurments of the index card do i can print it.

please help me!!!!!!

You can use a text box also and place lines inside of it. Use the ruler guides to make the text box the exact size of an index card as well, just by clicking on the text box and dragging the sides or the bottom to expand it.

I would use the line making tool on your drawing toolbar, for a number of reasons, to draw your index card lines with.

I can't seem to find anything that exactly says index cards, but if you have Word 03', then go to Help %26gt; Microsoft Office Word Help %26gt; type 'index cards' %26gt; the first link should be about something called a 'pocket reference card', but it looks like it could be used as an index card if needed.

Just download it, and it should work. It's at least worth a try.

I have a powerpoint i'm working on in microsoft, yesterday it worked just fine, and now it will open, but i can't change anything. HELP! I can't click on anything, not even save.

Sounds like you are in preview mode. Click on the tools menu and select normal.

Either that or the file is named with PPS instead of PPT.

Microsoft was dudting off all the old 97 word users and some bootleg well i bought my computer through ebay and i didn't know the guy

had made bootleg copies well i was hammered by the huricaine a couple of yrs ago and my disks and such were under a collapsed roof well Dell sent me recovery disks but I did not recover word now even microsoft varifies my authenticity but still I cannot recover word any suggestions it is really frustrating.

Microsoft Word 97 is a discontinued product. You'll have to purchase Microsoft Word 2003 or 2007.

the only problem is I guess you just didn't know it was WINDOWS

i was doing a project on Microsoft Word and I put around 10 photos in Word. All of a sudden, when i open it the next time, all my photos are gone and Word says the following message:

''There is not enough memory or disk page to display or print the pictures.'' How come there is not enough memory, my memory is 1gb. I still have over 90 gb of hard drive left. Then I lose all of my photos. Anyone know whats happening?

how much software do you run at one time? For each open program, a certain amount of your memory gets taken up. So even with 1 gig, its is possible to lack enough memory to display your photos. Close all the stuff you aren't using, and if you have windows, close any un-used programs in the taskbar(for most you should be able to right-click, then hit close, if not, control-alt-delete)

Try this:

File / Save As

At the bottom, by ''Save as type'', select an eralier version of Word than your current version - perhaps Word 97-2003.

Close and try to open again.
