Microsoft Office Enterprise Help!?

I recently installed Microsoft Office Enterprise on my computer. It is awesome and I love it except for one annoying thing. The default spacing after a line is 10 pt. I know I can change it but it sometimes reverts back to 10 pt throughout the document. Not only that but any new document I open immediately goes back to 10 pt. This whole new ribbon thing is cool but it has no room for permanent settings. At least I don't think it does... Any suggestions?

Are you aware of the fact that MS Word uses templates? A template tells what fonts to use for things and the background and that sort of thing. There is a default template used for all new documents called Normal (the actual file is Normal.dot). If that template is changed then the defaults for new documents change. Try putting in "template" in the MS word help.
