Microsoft genuine thing?

hello.. what I want to ask is that, my computer makes automatic updates.. and it downloaded something which is related with notifying people about whether their computer is genuine or not.. (ask for microsoft genuine..etc..) as you may know, when I start my computer, it appears on the screen, and also it appears in the toolbar at the bottom of our right hand side.. I want to remove it from my computer.. but I can't.. how can I disable this notification..??..

ps: I tried add/remove programmes and also even tried removing all related documents when I search for it..

DO NOT RANDOMLY REMOVE FILES OFF OF YOUR COMPUTER WHEN YOU ARE TRYING TO FIGURE OUT A PROBLEM. IN ALMOST EVERY CASE YOU FIND OUT LATER YOU DIDN"T NEED TO REMOVE THEM AFTERALL.

YOU MAY END UP REMOVING THE WRONG THING. KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DELETING BEFORE YOU DELETE IT!
If your copy of windows is legal go ahead and verify it and the message will go away. I don't believe that you are going to get rid of it any other way.
I haven't encountered such a thing myself. The check installs on my machine and then issues no messages at all.

Is it, perhaps, telling you that your copy of windows is NOT genuine? If so, then the solution is to buy a legal copy of Windows (or switch to another OS such as Linux) rather then continuing to use the illegal copy you have at present.
