Microsoft vista and xp printers not compatible?

i have a Lexmark that i used to print on XP pc, now we have a Microsoft Vista and the printer works irregularly.. how can i fix this?

Go to Lexmark and look for a Vista patch compat. w/ your printer. All kinds of printers are not working w/ Vista.

I would go to the Lexmark website and insure that your printer is compatible with Vista. If it is, download the latest drivers for Vista.

chances are you cant. Its a well documented problem that older printers do not have drivers for windows vista.

check the website of Lexmark:

for the drivers for your printer, and if there are not drivers for Vista, you will have to buy a new one.
